Sara always had a connection with animals. Her grandparents always said she could be found outside playing with the animals in the neighborhood rather than the kids. Sara graduated in 1999 from St. Petersburg College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She worked in an avian and a small animal practice in Central Florida, for 20 years, and as a relief technician in a sister practice that catered to exotics. In addition, she also worked in a busy emergency hospital where she enjoyed learning and furthering her experience. Sara enjoys continuing her education so that she can help treat her patients in an ever changing medical field.
In June of 2017, her, her husband and their two twin boys moved to Southern Indiana to be closer to family. When she is not at work she can be seen on the sidelines, at her boy's sporting events. She also enjoys refinishing old furniture, being in the garden, hiking and hanging out with her family.
